Thanks to those who responded to my inquiry about "Grajales, Laudoniere, Ft.
Caroline," etc..   I received several articulate, thought provoking notes
and I appreciate them.  Apparently, the line I inquired about is not a
signature line but a reference to  source documents concerning people,
places and events from the same period and does not imply the unlikely
alliance I wondered about.  No doubt my lack of sophistication in
documentation techniques is at fault.    Thanks again,  RR
